Event Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all users and guests who purchase tickets to Clayhall Charity Bash. This does not affect your statutory rights. Upon purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder agrees to be bound by the terms & conditions below.

Clayhall Charity Bash may vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and the up to date terms shall be available on the Website.

In these Terms & Conditions, the “Organiser”, “Us”, “Our”, or “We” means the promoters of Clayhall Charity Bash and “Event” shall mean the event, exhibition or show printed on the ticket purchased. ‘You’, ‘Purchaser’ or ‘Attendee’ refers to a person who purchased the ticket(s), the person the ticket is purchased for or the person uses the ticket to enter the event.

The following terms apply to the purchase of the tickets.

  1. Tickets may only be purchased by individuals aged 18 or over.
  2. A valid ticket must be produced to enter the Event, and these tickets will be emailed to you upon purchase of them.
  3. The event is invitation only, tickets purchased without invitation will be voided.
  4. Tickets can only be purchased through this website.
  5. In addition to the ticket price, your order includes the payment of a small credit card processing and transaction fee for each ticket, paid to a third party at the time of the ticket purchase.
  6. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the event and/or consumed at the event, any alcohol brought into the event will be confiscated.
  7. No animals are permitted entry except for assistance dogs.
  8. No weapons or items that could be interpreted to be weapons are permitted.
  9. No illegal substances are permitted at the event.
  10. The event may be recorded or photographed and those recordings and photographs used for promotional purposes – by purchasing a ticket to this event and attending the event, all attendees agree to photographs or videos of them at the event to be used for this purpose without further consent being sought.
  11. Event tickets are not refundable and no refunds will be provided if the attendee is no longer able to attend or is refused entry due to not meeting the terms & conditions.
  12. No liability will be taken for the loss, theft or damage to any personal property at the event, including but not limited to bags, phones, cameras, wallets, any vehicles parked at the event site or belongings inside those vehicles.
  13. The event site is a working farm and the ground may be uneven in places, given this you agree to wear appropriate clothes for the weather and to take reasonable care moving around at the event.
  14. WARNING: prolonged exposure to loud music or noise may cause damage to your hearing. Special effects may be featured at the event that may not be suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions.
  15. In the unlikely situation that the event cancelled for any reason, we will notify each Attendee as soon as possible, and if an Attendee wishes to claim a refund of the cost of the ticket, the Attendee must notify us of this in writing to clayhallcharitybash@gmail.com within 15 days of the cancellation notification being sent by us. Refunds in this situation will be minus the transaction fees incurred when purchasing the tickets.
  16. In the event of a change of the event date, Attendees will have the right within 15 days of receiving notice of the change to:
      i. withdraw from the Event and request in writing a refund of their ticket (minus transaction fees); or
      ii. transfer their ticket to another individual who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  17. If we do not receive a written request from any Attendee for a refund in accordance with paragraphs 15 or 16 above, the ticket will no longer be refundable.
  18. If the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled we cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation and other related goods, services or compensation.
  19. The Event will take place partially outdoors regardless of weather conditions (unless we deem it unsafe). There are no refunds for bad weather and we strongly advise that you come dressed appropriately for an outdoor event.
  20. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, showing signs of Covid-19 including a high temperature or a persistent cough, refusing to wear a mask when required to do so (unless they are unable to do so due to an underlying health condition), otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately, or for any other behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or for failure to comply with our reasonable requests.
  21. Operational issues beyond our control (e.g., The weather or an Act of God or wider eventualities outside of our control, for which no person can be held responsible) may mean, for your safety, some advertised features/services may not be available at the event. 
  22. In recognition of the purpose of the event and for the comfort of all attendees, the event is non-smoking.
  23. We will not be responsible for any loss, damage, death or injury howsoever caused unless (i) the relevant party has breached its legal obligations; and (ii) such loss or damage is a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of the breach. For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be responsible for the actions of any third party, including, but not limited to other attendees, vendors or entertainment providers.
  24. We, will not be be liable for any injury or accident causing loss or damage to a Attendee or any third party where this is sustained as a result of a Attendee taking part in the Event.
  25. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect any statutory rights to which the Attendee may be entitled as a consumer.
  26. All auction prizes are kindly donated by individuals or businesses in support of the Clayhall Charity Bash. Auction prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items unless specifically stated. Some prizes may have restrictions, expiry dates, or blackout periods. These will be clearly outlined at the time of bidding. It is the winner’s responsibility to check and comply with these conditions. The Clayhall Charity Bash organisers are not liable for any personal arrangements made between the prize donor and the prize winner. Once payment has been received, the prize is considered redeemed and non-refundable. In the unlikely event that a donor cannot fulfil a prize, the organisers will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative of equal value, but cannot guarantee this.
